Robert L. Farmer
Mr. Farmer graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1946. His undergraduate work was interrupted by three years of military service during World War II. He received his law degree in 1949 from the University of Southern California, where he was awarded Order of the Coif.

Robert W. Ridley
Mr. Ridley has specialized in employee benefits for his entire legal career and has been involved in the formation of employee benefit law and policy including ERISA in 1974 and the Multi-Employer Pension Plan Amendments Act of 1980.

Robert L. Weaver
Throughout his nearly 40 years of law practice, Mr. Weaver has specialized in business and tax planning for individuals, closely held corporations and partnerships, and he has been primarily responsible for his firm’s substantial estate, trust and probate practice.

Perry E. Maguire
Mr. Maguire specializes in employee benefits and executive compensation for both publicly and privately held companies. In addition, Mr. Maguire has been involved with real and personal property secured transactions and general commercial transactions.

Terry R. Finucane
Mr. Finucane handles a variety of general business, employee benefit and tax matters.  He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1969 and earned his law degree from Hastings College of Law, University of California in 1973 and became a partner of the firm in 1981.  Mr. Finucane is now the firm’s managing partner.

John G. Powers
Mr. Powers divides his time between civil litigation and general corporate work, and handles a wide variety of matters in both State and Federal courts, including breach of contract, design defect, employee benefit (ERISA and MEPPA), unfair competition and real estate related matters.


William L. Winslow
As a partner of the firm of Farmer & Ridley LLP, Mr. Winslow practices in trust law, tax, and estate planning. He has a specialty practice in settlements of complex personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, including drafting special needs trusts, uses of structured settlements, Medi-Cal and Medicare planning, and related topics.

Rebecca B. Mocciaro
Ms. Mocciaro is a civil trial attorney, specializing in general business and real estate litigation. She has handled a wide range of matters, including employment-related cases, bank regulatory, errors and omissions defense work for various professionals, construction defect, commercial unlawful detainers, and breach of contract matters.

Richard D. Cleary
Mr. Cleary's practice focuses on probate, trust, and estate litigation, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. He represents beneficiaries and individual and corporate fiduciaries in a wide variety of estate and trust disputes, including surcharge claims, proceedings to remove fiduciaries, will and trust contests, and proceedings for interpretation and modification of trusts.

Aurora L. Basa
Ms. Basa is an associate at the firm. Her practice focuses on trust administration and special needs trusts and general business litigation including ERISA matters. Ms. Basa graduated from Loyola Law School in 2006 and from the University of California Berkeley, earning a B.A. in Legal Studies with high honors in 2003.
